The purpose of the Sealed Knot Society is to reenact the English Civil war that raged in the British Isles during the mid 17th Century. The battles and displays are put on to entertain and inform the paying public of this turbulent period of British history, and at the same time to raise money for charity. The society and Manchester's try their hardest to achieve these aims by making the whole experience enjoyable for the members taking part.
The Earl of Manchester's Regiment of Foote is a regiment that can cater for all tastes and expectations. If you are interested in joining then there are many things to chose from. You can play an active or a passive role, whatever your aspirations there is something for everyone.
